I Know How That Feels

About 10 years ago I read a book by Andy Andrews entitled The Noticer. It encouraged the reader to view common events in our lives as gifts rather than mundane daily occurrences. This song is a result of observing (noticing) current circumstances in the lives of friends, recalling a comparable past episode in my life, and the gratitude I have for the bountiful life I have lived. It's a tip of the cap to my family.
